Megatron is wicked cool!Transformers Prime Megatron is one of the most menacing,bad-ass,and kick-ass versions done.Megatron has perfect realistic prime series detail in spaceship mode or robot mode. The decepticon leader has awesome articulation overall as well with one of the coolest head pieces ever done. The transformers Prime Megatron blows the earlier animated version out of the universe. This version is a vast improvement in overall quality and transformation factor. The other cool thing is the G1 influence with the fusion cannon on the arm which is the perfect size for the arm and fits securely in place. The fusion cannon also converts to a sword with a cool energon glow.Megatron also comes with a battle claw which fits on the other arm.The battle claw attaches with the fusion cannon in spaceship mode or when Megatron is in robot mode. The only thing is when the battle claw is on the fusion cannon you can’t convert to the sword feature. The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating cool battle scenes or displaying where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure joints, ball joint construction, and a solid build in either spaceship or robot mode. The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Megatron could be challenging for the younger ages on a few parts of the transforming process. To start off rotate the wing pieces on the back downwards as the shoulder armor pieces rotate upwards.Rotate the shoulder pieces around as you do the same for the arms so the hands are facing palm side out.The arms rotate up as the hands flip in.The entire back section rotates up as the chest plates rotate outwards. This will make the body section of the spaceship with the exposed chest area. The next part can be tricky with the rotating of the arms into place.Rotate the arms inwards then make sure the attachment holes for the weapons are facing the bottom of the section above. Also make sure the upper arm parts have the inside area facing the same way.The arms will then rotate upwards to connect with the body section of the spaceship. The purple piece behind the head piece will rotate backwards as the wing pieces will come together around the head piece. The head piece is exposed a little while in spaceship mode. The legs then rotate inwards as the feet pegs come together. The inside leg armor piece pulls outward on each leg then rotates around. The entire bottom section with the legs rotate up and under the body of the spaceship. The shoulder armor rotates forward for the front decor while the wings each have extensions that rotate out.The fusion cannon is positioned in the purple piece behind the head piece.Megatron is ready for flight!Megatron is an amazing all around transformer in the Transformer Prime series.Bottom line Megatron is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will treasure.I highly recommend Transformers Prime Megatron to all fans and collectors out there.Megatron Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

Sorry everyone I had to take my other review down on the Powerizer Megatron. Something came up (which I’ll go over in this review) and it just changes the game all together. So let’s get on it with it and start with vehicle mode.

As of late we know that Megatron is so disgusted with humans that he refuses to take a on a vehicle/alt mode based on any human design.Personally I love that concept. It just breathes even more life into his character. Anyway, Megatron transforms into a Cybertronian jet. The vehicle mode looks pretty darn good. Not as great and as detailed as the Deluxe First Edition but still pretty good. That’s without the Fusion cannon. In my first review on this, I said I think it’s way too big and I still feel that way. I know with the whole powerizer gimmick it had to be that large but I just can’t help but ask myself…”why couldn’t they put the light somewhere else?” for example, why couldn’t the light be in his chest so when lit it would simulate the Dark Energon as in the episodes One Shall Stand? Just a thought. Bottom line the Fusion cannon is just too big. Vehicle mode without it looks awesome. But when that hulking mass is put on…it takes away a little of the shine. The biggest thing you’ll notice is how Megatron is more to scale. That’s where the First Edition fails. FE Megatron had the spirit…but not the will. This Megatron is quite accurate now scale wise.

Transformation is VERY similar to the First Edition. This released borrowed quite a bit of transformation techniques used with the First Edition. Such as the chest panels, legs, and lower torso. Exactly the same as the First Edition…well…a couple minor differences. The Powerizer Megatron is better for the younger kids because of the Transformation. Even though similar to the First Edition, it’s still simpler and easier for young minds to comprehend. It’s also still just as fun.

On to robot mode. Robot mode looks great. Sorry but again the First Edition Megatron takes first place. There’s quite a bit more purple on this release which makes him look quite different from the First Edition.Everything fits into place perfect and makes for a steady robot mode. Now for the reason I had to re write this review. The first Powerizer Megatron I bought had a problem with the right arm (which happens to be the cannon mount too!). It was way too loose. The Fusion cannon really weighed it down and I had little poseability out of it…that is without the cannon. It was just way to loose with the cannon attached. So I got fed up returned and exchanged it. As fate would ulitmatly reveal. I originally bought a bad mold. My new Powerizer Megatron doesn’t have this problem at all. Holds poses perfectly and tighter. So beware of bad molds. The ONLY issue I really have a problem with is the kibble on the back really makes him look bad. I feel as though it looks like Megatron has butterfly wings. Granted you can position them different and hide them to an extent but I really wish the back was more like the First Edition. It wasn’t such an eyesore.

Overall this is great addition to the Prime Family of toys. Not only is he better scaled, Its definitely different from the First Edition but equally as fun. Powerizer Megatron is one must have for the collection.

I had to track this down via amazon because this figure disappeared from the shelves days before the holidays and I wanted one to complete my son’s collection. The figure itself was no different than if I had bought it at a local retailer, and it looks good with the rest, The one thing that kept this from being a five star review honestly is the price I paid for it, Voyager class transformers retail from Hasbro for 19.99, and I can buy them locally for between 21.99 and 23.99 depending on the store, So, IMO, $30+ seemed a little high. At least I got free shipping.

Like the First Edition Bulkhead, this version of the Vehicon is a masterpiece.I’m 98% satisfied with this release. The Vehicon is a must have for any collector. AND he’s kid friendly too.

We’ll start with vehicle mode. The Vehicon transforms into a mix between three cars. The Cadillac 16,CTS and XTS with a few modifications.Vehicle mode looks really good. I love it. My one and only problem is paint. There is some purple paint on the rear and front fenders but not on the grill. Hasbro has been failing miserably in the paint app area as of late. So…well say the vehicon is 95% screen accurate in vehicle mode.

Transformation is spectacular. At first you will be reminded of the First Edition Vehicon with the huge backpack and kibble all over the place. After transforming you see this is not the case at all. It amazes me how essentially the whole car folds up into his feet. The Transformation will utterly blow you away. It’s very simple too. Think of it a suped up cyberverse figure. It’s going to be very easy for kids and feels quite durable too.

Robot mode is amazing. Very screen accurate very bad A__. Hasbro did a wonderful job. He looks dangerous. The headsculpt is great, poseability is superb.I saved the best part for last so here it is. HE ACTUALLY SPORTS DECEPTICON LOGOS!!! This is rare for the revealers. The powerizers have logos but none of the revealers to date has sported autobot OR Decepticon logos. Kudos for Hasbro.

Overall Great figure. buy now. Collectors and Kids alike will love this Masterpiece

Vehicon is one of the best! This is one of the elite transformers in the revealers line that has some of the best overall quality around. The Vehicon is basically the decepticon foot soilder with one badass pursuit car mode.Vehicon has perfect transformer’s prime detail and articulation in both modes while all parts fit securely together during the transformation process. This bad boy comes with a snap-on blaster cannon that attaches securely in either hand in robot mode and either side of the pursuit car near the back wheels. The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating cool battle scenes or displaying where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure joints and a solid build in either robot or pursuit car mode. The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 they might need some assistance during the transformation process.Honestly Vehicon does have a very versatile transformation that most ages can learn with some practice. To start off the sides of the pursuit car including the doors and rear wheels seperate outwards.Next the rest of the top part of the vehicle flips forward then seperates. The next few steps are similar to a domino scenerio with each piece starting from the spoiler piece rotates down. This is done three times as the legs are formed. The feet pieces then rotate down to completely form the legs.Next rotate the front wheel pieces on the side of the leg back slightly as the back bumper piece rotates down to rest behind the head piece which is now revealed. The hands then flip out as the forearm rotates out to form the arms.Vehicon is now ready to rumble. This is one decepticon warrior that is a gem of a transformer that all fans and collectors will treasure.Bottom line Transformers Prime Vehicon is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans and collectors will love.I highly recommend Transformers Prime Vehicon to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Vehicon Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

I am a HUGE fan of the Transformers Prime show and toy line, and I gotta say, the vehicon is by far my favorite out of all the figures! It was simple to transformer (though some pieces were a bit stubborn and required some coaxing) and absolutely GORGEOUS in both vehicle and root mode! I had to buy two because the first one I bought was simply too beautiful to take out of the box.
A must have for all fans of the series! 5/5
