I got this for Christmas for my four year old and he absolutely loves it! Came as described online and showed up in time for Christmas. It was indeed a merry Christmas for him.

Aha We have a Wrecker. I was going to get the original Topspin, but the Armor repaint spoke to me more, mainly because of the repaint. On the original Topspin, his “mullet” is painted grey with the rest of the head being blue, making it stand out a bit. On the armor repaint, the mullet is black and appears more a rear head shield (ala G1 Megatron) then as a mullet. Not a big fan of hair on my robots, lol, thats why I’m shying from Q and Crankcase. The vehicle mode, Jimmie Johnson’s #48 Lowes Chevy Impala (weaponized) is solid. Rolls great, has four removable machine guns on the doors and roof. The claw/cannon Mech Tech weapon fits on the hood. In robot mode he looks fierce, with guns everywhere, like he’s just itching for a fight, true Wrecker style. His transformation is easy enough that most 8 year olds should get it.

A hint for transformation: It tells you in the instructions and the video reviews on youtube that you must remove all four machine guns to transform him. Not so. Just unfold the legs, then turn the guns around so that they are facing the rear of the car. You do have to remove the Mech Tech weapon first. And remember, just because the instructions and packaging show him posed in a certain fashion, you can set parts of him the way you want it. I will try to post pictures to show that.

But this is a must buy. Armor Topspin shines in both robot and vehicle mode. Must have for any collector or first timer!
