I got this book for my 5 year old son after getting the partner book, Meet the Autobots. He loved that book so much that getting this one was a no-brainer. The story doesn’t follow the movie as much as the Autobots book does, but we were able to learn the names of the various Decepticon characters. The pictures were good and not too scary. I’ll try whatever it takes to keep my son interested in reading books, and this does it.

Very impressed with this book and the kids love it. Has a lot of detail which really kept the kids attention. It is marked as a level 2 reader for kids but it is more on a level 3 reader.

My 4 year old loves Transformers and has the Autobot version of this book. He really likes this one too. It’s easy for him to understand, and I like how it gives a little blurb about many of the decepticons. I wish it included some of the other decepticons like the Fallen and Devastator, but I guess they had to pick and choose which ones to talk about.
